Window Regulator Repair
I recently had a window regulator go bad on my '04 Screw. Seems like many of these have gone bad before. I was wondering if anyone repair these. They could probably repair it better than the original. I think it's the plastic end on the cable that goes on most of them. Replace this with a metal one and it would probably last a lot longer. If I just replace it, they will replace it with the same junk and it will only fail again.

Very true. I replaced one.

All that's broken is a .25 cents piece of plastic on one of the guides. Can't believe no one sells these. Anyone with any information please chime in.

i fixed mine over a year ago, a little jb weld to fix the slider, a new cable, and cable ends and i saved myself ~$200

I repaired one with some 5 minute epoxy, lasted for about 3 months. I am about to order a new regulator assembly for $93. It'll take me about 15 mins to replace.
