I just bought some 20" aftermarket wheels from a buddy but the tires are shot
so I too called discount tire for the same reason...
they also wanted about $200
-remove tires from my oem 20" wheels
-remove factory tpms sensors
-mount and balance 4 tires
-buy 4 tpms adjustable/reuseable bands ($25)
-buy 4 tpms clips($25)
-install tpms sensors

basically they charge so much because I am not buying any wheels/tires from them...
I did buy my 17" wheels w/35" tires from them but never put sensors in them because I was still drivingon my factory wheels in the spring/summer...
I may go there tomorow with my reciept for $1700 and see how much they will charge me to do my 17" s...

also...I went online to llok for the bands/clips...
ebay was like $160 shipped for everything
and $80 for just the bands...

This is true, mine doesn't. I think I read somewhere that vehicles over about 6500 lb GVW didn't have it. Mines 8200 and does not have any.

How do you know you don't have sensors? Mine is a 7200 lb GVW.

Some times the answer can be so obvious. What is the pressure it is set up to turn the light on below?
