Ah! My truck yelled at me! So many codes, so little time.

Here's what I got while I was randomly driving on Saturday:
P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1)
P0303 Cylinder #3 - Misfire Detected
P0316 Misfire Detected on Startup (first 1000 revolutions)

The last one is the weirdest seeing as how I was already driving for about 15 minutes before I got these codes.

I usually put 90 octane gas in my truck but about 2 weeks ago I put in 87 and detuned my Edge Evo. It's at stock now but still throwing codes.

Ideas?

5.4? Might be early warning for injector failure.

Sounds like injector woes to me. Do you have the 2005 5.4 injector letter?

Ya, it's a 5.4.
Letter? That doesn't sound familiar so my guess is no.

Tical here is the letter, print it out, and take it and the truck to the dealer.

Sounds like your truck is screaming injector problems. Either have them replaced, or wait til it hydro locks the motor and get a brand new short block for free, your choice.

And watch them blame the e-fans or tonneau cover. The Evo will be long gone by the time I take it in. I have an appt on Friday for my 40K so I'll just get them to replace it then.
