I love the rim but want a bigger more aggressive tire on it. Anyone know of anything bigger? Thanks

know it isn't a F-150, but here is a Expy with the Saleen's powdercoated black on the size rubber you want. They're close enough to being the same vehicle that I think you can get an idea of what you'll be getting
and a whole bunch of F-150's

Yes I have found out that the biggest is 305/40/23, there are some 305/45/23's that were made for a concept car but that was it and arent produced.

SO, I am settling for 305/40/23's and have looked at a lot of pics and feel they should look pretty good on my leveled FX4. What I am worried about is finding the best tire for my area. I live in Michigan and would like to keep these rims/tires on all year through winter. So I need a tire that will be decent in snow. I know the tires available arent made for snow but its what I have to work with.

Im looking at the Falken ziex S/TZ tire. Any suggestions

I got the General Grabber UHP's and like the quality and performance on the dry stuff. I havent had them in the snow (I have snow wheels now, I would never take the Saleens through a winter)...

But if you have a FX4, and put anything other then Summer tires or Slicks, then you should be fine.

well I plan on powder coating them black, so that will hold up better for winter. Im just worried about traction in the winter.

Well, the good news is you dont have alot of options for tires. So maybe head over to Tire Rack and start reading reviews of the tires they do make in our size and see which one fits what you are looking for.

WIth mine they are more focused on dry and wet VS snow and mud. They do have the M+S symbol (for light snow), but I can drive pretty decently and dont fear the white stuff enough to worry about it.

I know your looking for something bigger but those 305/40/23 Conti's are a very nice riding tire if smoothness is what your looking for.

What ever tire I buy is going to be 10x smoother than my worn 35" pro comp extreme all terrains that I have now, so thats not the issue. And the snow doesnt bother me either just dont want a tire that is completely useless. And I love the look of the general grabbers too but can see its focused for dry and wet. I have been looking at reviews too and its pretty much between the grabbers and the falkens.

Thanks guys
