well, I dont have the pics on my phone and I just installed (therefore wiped the HDD) Win7RC. Pics are gone. Stupid thing is I deleted them like two weeks ago .

It's fairly straight forward, and can be accomplished with some knives and common sense. It will void your warranty, but screw it. Why pay $100+ to replace a little pin? Further, if you f' up on doing it yourself, you're back where you started/spending $100+

was the switch for me, got it in under warranty with 2 weeks left to go. they replaced the drivers switch, and it hassent not worked since.

It would go down no problem, but to go back up you had to hit it 5 times...

I just replaced my driver's side regulator.

On the replacement regulator, make sure to lube the tracks with plenty of white lithium grease. That's the problem with the factory ones. They aren't lubed enough and they tend to stick, which breaks the cable ends or the gears in the motor.

Also make sure to lube the rubber guides with silicon spray lubricant. The window will glide like a hock puck.

MIne finally snapped, just ordered a regulator from NAPA aftermarket $42 dollars
Hopefully it is just the regulator because the motor still spins but no action.

Coincedently the light in that switch just started acting up too but the switch seems to be working fine. I pulled off the door panel and got the window back up at least for now till the part arrives.

I paid $65 for mine. I took the other one out and tore it apart too. I replace the drivers side contacts with one from the rear since they never get used. Now I have a replacement!

Mine been acting up here and there. especially when I first got my truck, I told the dealer and they said they couldn't find a problem with it. I'm like ya sure ya didn't. So now I know where to look for, when mine finally craps out. Thanks guys.
