I've got a Ground Force 2/4 drop. I'll probably start looking at shackles in the next week or so.

jsvo i know you have a 3/5 and i was wondering the same, how do you guys with more then 2 inces in front keep from eating up tires and getting alignments every 2 weeks?
well actually i have had the truck lowered for almost a year now and it is starting to make a grinding noise when i turn all the way to the left and im wondering if it might need to be re-aligned, this is my first lowered truck being that im only 17 so im not sure what it may be, help anybody?

Well I got it aligned this morning and got the wheels on and cleaned the truck up well. I went with the 305/40s and I'm glad I did. Here are the new pics! Let me know what you think!

I think it can come down a little more in the rear, but for now I like the stance on it! Let me know what you guys think!!

BTW no rubbing whatsoever!
SWEET!

Definitely get it aligned! Your alignment shop will be able to determine the cause of the grinding and will probably ask a pretty penny for fixing it too if its a suspension component.

Its really hard to say what it could be without seeing/hearing it.
Does it grind only when at full lock or throughout the full left turn?
Is it a metal to metal grind or a tire to plastic/metal grind? Can you feel it in the wheel as its doing it or only an audible?
Best thing to do is to get under the wheel well and check for rubs on the inner fender, lower and upper control arms and wheel edge.

Hopefully its just a small clearance issue that can be resolved with an alignment and not a balljoint or tie rod although i have never heard a ball joint only make noise when at full lock. A tie rod is less likely.

it does it throughout the full left turn but it is a metal to metal grinding, i cant feel it in the wheel but when i still had the 22s on it you could hear it like it was something grinding as each spoke passed in the turn, i put my stock 17s back on it so i can sell the 22s and you can still hear it! its pretty embaarrasing to have a lowered truck thats supposed to look good but sounds like a junkyard beater when i turn lol

Check out that link and it will tell you how far your speedo is off at a certain speed when you go with a different size tire.
