valve body installed

i ordered my valve body through troyer, i was going to take pictures but the instructions were so good there are no need for a write up. must admit i was a bit intimidated but basicly drop the trans pan remove filter take out 25 bolts move to solenoid coils and change 2 springs, put it back together and it feels like a different truck. almost forgot i did do this on a car lift if i had to do it with the truck on the ground i think i would have bin swiming in fluid all together took 2 hours thats letting all the fuild drain out and a lunch break. so if anyone is thinking about it its not bad just messy L.J

Good to hear!

This was also one of the first mods I did on my truck. I have a similar valve body to Troyers and love it. Makes the truck feel much more alive.

Valve bodies are a better plan than a tuner alone. They reduce line pressure and don't put soo much hydraulic stress on everything when compared to stock line pressures.

I have a custom tune and backed the line pressure down a bit.

What all do you have done on your truck if you dont mind me asking? Been toying with the idea of getting this when I do a tranny pan on it.

I went with the double deep mag hytech pan, some expensive schaeffer tranny oil ( a complete flush), custom tune from php and a custom valve body from a lightning race truck shop. The truck is amazing now. The truck shifts fast and down shifts very fast. I am also lifted on 37s which is a different perspective from all the guys who love to blast down the track.
