This makes me feel a little better about my upcoming project... I'll be loading up the car trailer with a '72 Datsun 510 station wagon and a '60 Studebaker Lark. I'm probably going to be right around 9,000 pounds with the trailer and both cars on it - luckily it is all flat ground towing.

Edit:
For the record, I already have a trailer brake controller (Tekonsha P3) and weight distribution stuff.

Wait, you mean some people have "work days" with there truck?

I have those too, 360 of them (I think I only take about 5 days off a year).

This pic I took a few months ago after getting home from NY with my jeep. I did not drive out there with the plow on. I got back, put it on, then needed to move the trailer. I did however drive back, in a snow storm, then go straight to plowing for the next 6 hours.

I work the hell out of my truck, that's what its for.

Nice, my truck doesn't nearly get used as much as my dad's. Dad pulls a loaded 16ft construction trailer around at least once a week. Mine usually just pulls the lawn mowing trailers. LOL Nice pictures!

I use the bed on my truck way more often than I do the hitch, otherwise I'd be driving a lifted Expedition or Excursion! I don't care how long and Excursion is, it simply isn't the best vehicle for me to haul alfalfa in.

Impressive pull with that F150... They both are looking good, and putting in some work.

Thought I would throw a couple in. Sorry for the cell phone quality.

I took these last weekend when I was helping move 4 horses from one barn to another across town. The trailer was HEAVY, not sure what the weight was as it had no plates just rust, but it was a pig. The 4 horses werent too light either. The F150 did great, up hills and down. The powerslot rotors and Hawk pads REALLY did well, I had a dumb old lady stop on her brakes with me behind her, put her right turn on and then changed her mind and cut left back in front of me. I was able to balance slowing and the horses safety just fine. I could have come to a stop fairly quickly if it was just weight and not animals.

Anyways here they are
