Good job, man. It really does wake up the truck. Wait until you convert it into a Gryphon with PHP custom tunes. It will be even better!!!

I don't know. I think it just cleans up the airflow more than anything. All I have is a k/n drop in filter.

Did the gotts mod today, reloaded the edge to reset the computer and I could feel the difference right away! revs quicker and it growls better! well worth the $2.50 I spent on the ABS pipe!

its mostly dirt from driving in the rain, the master cylinder is the dirtiest thing.
I'll get to it soon.

Yeah I have troubles keeping mine clean throughout winter and spring time from the rain too.

Ok this morning I could really tell how good the Gotts mod really is! I usually park my truck every night with my average miles per gallon at 14.6-15.3. When I drive my wife to work at 5:45 am I can get them up to 16.3 by the time I get to her job. We did a lot of street driving before we got home yesterday in heavy traffic so my APGs were at 13.6 when I turned it on this morning. Well the whole drive this morning my air intake temps were only 2 degrees higher than the outside temps! My APGs went from 13.6 to 16.2 by the time I dropped her off! Same drive, same speed, same amount of traffic. And this includes one of the dumbest things I've done in a while! I saw this sweet 79 ford truck next to me at the light waiting to get on the freeway. It had a 70's cream colored paint job with those classic orange stripes with big chrome rims and a raspy exhaust. I guess the guy noticed me checking out his truck so when the light turned green I heard him gun it! Well so did I! I beat him up the ramp and kept my foot on it till we got up the hill. My wife looks at me and says "what the hell was that about?!" I just shrugged my shoulders and gave her my I dont know look. I never do things like that! Something primordial just took over. I was ashamed but proud of myself at the same time. Well the mod works, its cheaper than a CAI and brings out the beast in you. I say its worth it!
