My first Accident

Well , today while i was cruising around in sand dunes and enjoying my time , i decided to stop and take a break , everything was cool at this point
later on when get moving , i faced one edgy little dune climb , stepped on gas and no problems , but thanks to my tiny tires and long wheelbase , they made me stuck in top of it and the chassis hit the ground well actually i was little slow , basicly i was like this :

I know i couldn't do anything since the tires was rolling on air and i wasn't having a shovel , lucky one guy show up and decided to help me...

put the tow rope , shift into reverse , go slowly , but unfortunately that guy was bite too smart , he was behind me and he pulled me so hardly and he just slamed his brakes as soon as my car moved one inch (keep in mind that behind us was a 6000km of Straight land) , i hit the brakes but he didn't leave a room for me to stop and BAAM! here are some pictures

nothing serious here , but i just hate to see my new car go like that , anyway i will take it to the dealer's workshop and they should fix it in no time..

oh here are some pics before the disaster

I think now am having a good excuse to get some bigger tires and a custom made front and rear bumpers!!

Sorry about that, man! At least it can be fixed by replacing parts. What about the other guy's damage?

Yeah, Sorry to see you get damage like that...

At least nobody was hurt...

Some things that would help prevent this...

#1. Lift. At the very least a leveling kit. Better yet, a 6" lift such as Pro Comp, Doetsch, or, if they are not bankrupt yet, Fabtech...

#2. Taller, and wider rubber. 35x12.50/17 (18 or whatever size rim) is a good size for these trucks.

#3. Recovery equipment, including a shovel, and tow straps (A longer tow strap would have been helpful).

Keep your wits about you, and you should do fine.

Hate to see the damage....goodluck on the repairs.

If you are considering a differnt rear bumper and your going through your insurance for repairs make sure you tell the body shop and they can help you with that and maybe save some $$ over the oem bumper. Hard to tell though pending on what you want.

Does anyone over there make aftermarket bumpers, or will you have to buy one from the US?

+1 It has got to be hard to get parts there for a reasonable price....What are those sensors on the front?

lift will help. we ran into this problem today at the beach. friend high centered his 98 chevy 4x4 and i just laughed a little and crawled right over where he hit. and the ford out performed his truck in every way

and yes long tow straps are HELPFUL! we had atleast 10 straps put together today trying to get fx4 for life 79 pulled out (photos tomorrow in offroad section), probly over a 175 feet of straps atleast.

well i like the look of the Road armor Bumpers , but their shipping price is quite ridiculous , i had talked to one guy overhere and he will custom-made for me a pure iron front and rear bumpers , his bumpers are well known for being extreamly stronge (actually face-to-face accidents won't bent them!!)
