Anyone have pic of modded rear seat (new take off leather)

I am looking at the new take off leather from newtakeoffs.com,but the only problem is that my truck doesn't have the rear armrest. I have seen people on here post that they took it to an upholstery shop to get them to fix it. Just curious if anyone that has done this has a pic of there rear seat?

I don't have a pic, however will try to remember to take a few and upload. This is what I had to do, and wasn't a big deal. Took it to a local Automotive Restoration Shop and simply took the armrest material and stitched it in nicely for a clean OEM look. If I recall, I paid about $120.00. However, this was back in 2005. Go for it. I got lucky with the price I paid ($80.00 for a complete brand new set of Super Crew OEM takeoffs from an 05 Lariat). Since it was early in the 04-08 generation, demand for OEM leathers hadn't quite matured. Currently, I've see them priced in the $300-$400 range.

In case your wondering, I purchased mine from Mustang Parts Specialties in Georgia. At the time, they were doing a lot of aftermarket leather upgrades for their local dealers and reselling the factory fresh OEM's on eBay. Not sure if they are still doing this or not.

saleen,

Take a look at these links for those that have done the SCREW oem leather back seat conversion to to a SCAB. Although they were installed in a SCAB you can see how the Lariat SCREW oem leather covers (that previously had the armrest hole) have been modified to fill in the armrest hole and give you the oem look.

I have an 04 FX4 SCAB and swapped out my light flint cloth seats for oem black leather. Looks great.

Where are you located?

No. I installed the leather myself. The Lariats have a center armrest in the back seat, none of the other models do (I dont know if the FX4's do or not). I had an upholstery shop use the leather from the armrest and sew it up to work on my truck. Then I installed it.

That looks great....to the OP, you better be clear that you want the shop to match the horizontal stitching shown on the two sides seat panels. I paid an upholstery shop ~$90 to fix my leather rear covers. They replaced the entire middle section but did not follow that horzontal stitching through the new section. I didnt really notice it until the covers were put on. It looks fine and I am ok with it considering the price I paid for the covers plus the upholstering work, but I definitely would want it to look like GB150's covers.
