Tires

Suprise, suprise fellas but someone else has a thread and question about tires and wheels!! I am leveling my truck(04 lariat screw 4x4) and wanting to get 20"s and bigger tires. I have chosen to go with the terra grapplers but I was curious about size. I want to get the tallest and best looking tires that I can for my wheels. I have read many many posts and threads on here but I am confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

35/12.5/20

will fit your truck very nicely, and should only rub on full turn. and you can fix that with some minimal trimming

they don't make a 35x12.50-20 in the terra grappler the 325/60 is probably gonna rub being a 35x13

if it was me, i would go with a 275/65 or 295/60 may have some rubbing with the 295

BFG makes the All Terrain in the 285/65 and it's looks super on the stock 20's, not the tire you chose, but just an idea

I would love to do the bfg's but I just don't have the funds. What about 305/50 or 55?

I'd suggest a 9 inch wide wheel with 5 to 6 inches of backspacing and some 305/55-20's (33x12.50).

Stay with 33"s or 305s.

Will the Nitto 305/55/20 fit fine on a 20x8.5?

after reading a lot of threads on this forum I've seen a lot of trucks running the 305/55 on a leveled truck. Am I wrong I am anticipating some possible trimming but if I can't use this setup I understand. What do u guys think?

You can run a 305/55, should not have to do any trimming

When you all say trimming, what is it you actually have to trim?
