Were they the chrome tips before? If so how is the paint staying on? My brother is thinking about powder coating his.

Yes they were crome. And so far the paint is stickin pretty good but its only been like 3 days since i painted them.lol.

 

The clear coat is not high temp. but im sure the tips will hold up pretty good.

how are the tips now after a few days of seeing heat?


I'm wondering how the clearcoat is gonna hold up. I bought some flat black BBQ paint that is good for 1200 F.


Not gonna clear mine though, because I want them to blend in with all of my black trim
