2/4 Drop Kit

If I buy a 2/4 drop kit, what comes with it? Coil overs in front and springs in back or what? My springs in the back are 3" wide. When I ordered a leveling kit a couple of years ago, they wouldn't fit. They where for 2 1/2 wide springs. Please let me know. Thanks.

I think it depends on what kit you get, you can get that replace the springs and shackles or do flip kit which will keep your stock leafs, and for the front again it depends on what kit you get, mine had lower control arms up front but just look around, it should tell you what it comes with

My old truck had a 2/3. Front springs and shackles in the rear. Anymore then 3" in the rear and you'll have to do a flip kit.

please do not give false information. You can do a 4", even 5" without a flip kit

Please do not post false info on the boards.

Many here have done a 5" drop without a flip kit.

To the OP, each kit should have an explanation of the contents and components that make the kit.

Excuse me, let me elaborate... keeping your stock leafs and only doing a shackle change you can only go 3". Is that more to your liking?

www.latemodelrestoration.com (badass deal on shipping)
www.stylintrucks.com (better selection)

either of those sites, put in your vehicle information and there will be a lot of items that fit your truck.

Actually, I believe you can only do a 2" shackle drop.

There are some 3" shackles out there but with the NBS the top of the shackle will hit the bottom of the bed.

Anyone have a link to these 3" lowering shackles? I have 2" shackles on my truck and they are pretty close the the bottom side of the bed. I dont think there's room for a 3" shackle, but I could be wrong.
