the 5.4 guys seem to lose about 80 HP through the drivetrain

you have 260 crank HP...but those 20" rims are gonna kill ya as well. I'd venture to say you have about 160-170 RWHP

could be higher though. Your tranny is different from the 5.4 tranny

doubt it...but you never know. The tranny in these trucks eats up the HP. Since yours is different, it might not be such a HP hog.

and to be honest, I haven't seen any 4.6 dyno runs from a Truck.

What year is your truck? That will determine you fly wheel HP. 04-06 is 231 and 07-08 is 248. If you can find some 17 inch wheels, definitely use them.

i saw a dyno chart from K&N when i was looking for intake, i think it said 191hp before their intake.

edit: found it
http://www.kandn.com/dynocharts/57-2574_dyno.pdf

both of there charts for the 5.4 show about 190-195 hp stock??

Dyno at your school?
Dang.
I also did not realize that there was so much power lost in the drive train.

Going by those charts, the 5.4 is only 3 HP's more at the wheels?! I bet the 4.6 was 2WD, short bed, reg cab, and 3.73 gears.

I'll say 175ish to the wheels.

And a dyno day at school for a good cause is pretty damn cool.
