Ding Ding Ding I couldn't agree more. USAA is the best hands down. ONly thing is no one knows anything about them unless you come from a military family.

now I use USAA too

I would not use statefarm or recomend state farm to anyone
Not sure what your issues were with State Farm, but I had nothing except a great experience when I had my accident last year. The adjusted came out looked at everything and was very thorough with ensuring all the damage was covered. They covered all of my modifications even though I had never reported a single one to them.

Also from what I can tell my premiums did not go up a single dime. I have since added motorcycle insurance to my policy.

I also have USAA and love their service. I switched from GEICO about 3 years ago because of poor customer relations dealing with my accident. All of my vehicles are modded and USAA definitely covers em all.

it's nice to hear good things about USAA. at least that will somewhat justify the extra $$$ I have to spend each year...sorta. hopefully the next year seeing some discount off that $930 though

I thought your rates only went up if you were at fault...or if you made a claim via your own company. oh well, not like I can do anything about

Plus you'll get a dividend check from USAA every December.

I got *******ed over from my mods on my truck State Farm.....

Guess it depends on what your agent is actually willing to do for you

They've always covered my mods... it must really depend on the agent.

what kind of mods, never had seen that but your agent wouldn't decide, it's claims that decides, like myself. Actually today me and a coworker were talking about how much we pay on stuff that people dont even pay premiums on, such as rims, stereo, all that kind of stuff. But there is some stuff that is just not covered, like radar detectors, personal items, but without knowing what you got "screwed" on I would not really know what their reasoning was

Well for starters i upgraded about 2500$ (retail value) of Factory Ford take off on the front of my truck, and didnt get any near what they are worth in credit for them on the appraisal. I got a total of 700$ credit for my yellow top optima, and "upgraded lights"

I put a very expensive Ford SVT lightning bench in my truck, and they only gave me 200$ credit for power seat upgrade.

I had over 500 bucks wrapped up in my suspension, again nothing
stuff

I had alot of personal modifications, one of a kind personal stuff that didnt add anything to the truck

But yea i didnt get screwed

I just ask for receipts and proof of that stuff and pay for it, but that is me, if you can prove it I will pay it. Of course not all adjusters are as lenient as me, sorry about your experience though, I don't like hearing about people having that kind of experience with the company I represent ya know?

yah but some of the stuff i had bought as a cash transaction. Regardless, it was all FoMoCo stuff, so i dont see why there should be an issue of finding out how much its worth

True, sometimes people just honestly don't like doing their job, unlike myself, I am a big fan of mods and always to my best to help everyone out the best I can, I have searched hours to help people get what they deserve.
