Yeah, but not an 04(non heritage)-08 XL. Hence this part of the forum. Doesn't matter, but just saying.

My 95 F250 XL Heavy Duty 4x4

I know that it not the F150 and I have a 12 F150 4x4 super crew XLT FX4 with 5.0. But this photo is my 95 F250 XL HeavyDuty 4x4 with a 2 inch leveling kit 5.8l E4OD transmission that i have swapped axles to 4.10 from 3.55s from parts truck that I had got a sweet deal on. It has 16x10 polished aluminum wheels and 305/70/R16 Mud tires. It has a chrome grille and tailgate that is grom 2 different XLTs and got taikgate for 10 buck the night before it was going to a scrap yard. Plus a Ranch Hand rear bumper. It's a work in progress and next up is converting to mas air computers set up to be able to upgrade engine performance. I also want to eventually get a good set of 93-95 lightning seats and console. I also swapped out the XL instrument panel to one from a 95 Bronco with a tack because I like the looks of the the OEM vs. Aftermarket tachometer. Originally bought parts truck for a good transmission because selonoids were bad in tranny. I found part truck for 500 bucks and I didn't realize that it had a remanufactured transmission from jasper with less than 2000 miles. Plus new front brake rotors, lines and pads and a fairly new remanufactured motorcraft alternator. I now wish that i would have figured out what metric size that i needed to go to 35/ 12.50/ R16 instead of the equivalent of 33/12.50/R16. But it still looking better than the day that I bought. Sometimes I think about having it painted dark purple with pearl in the paint. I have also considered about getting the conversation kit to swap to a 5.9 Cummins 12v ether with the one from mopar and f650/750 valve covers or complete Cummins engine from 90s F650/750s. It has the blue ford oval on the valve covers which would look better than the mopar version. Same exact engines though. I love the 7.3 powerstroke but i really love a inline 6 cylinder over a V8 and the inline 6 is what's in big truck because of the low end torque. Yes there was the CAT 3208
V8 that was used in 80s big trucks. Big trucks are semi tractors. Plus i like the Cummins engine better than CAT or international eutg exception to the 3406 A, b,c, and E versions.
