Installed 4x Hella 4000's/Randy ellis Light bar- PICS!!!
I bought 4 Hella RallyE 4000 driving lamps (two with position lamps for the DRL type of feature). The HIDs I bought are 6000k 55W digital ballast systems from Retro Solutions (www.retro-solutions.com).
Each 55W bulb should put out about 5000 lumen for a total of 20,000 lumen from the aux lights and approximately 25,000 lumen with high beams on.

Damn dude are 55w suppose to be brighter? I couldnt imagine these being brighter lol
When we go to the desert at night I park at the top of a hill and light up a rivine. When you go down into the rivine and your walking back to my truck you cant even look at the lights they're so bright
Just make sure they send you H1 bulbs or they wont fit in the hellas

Yeah, the 55W HIDs are supposed to put out around 5000 lumen each. The 100W Hella H1 bulbs are rated at 2640 (per their catalog), and a 35W HID is going to be around 3500, so they should get even brighter. We'll see, though.
Question: I just got the lamps in today and noticed their is a square grommet that holds the wiring harness between inside and outside the lamp to prevent water from getting in......... what did you use to cover/plug that hole?

I cut that grommet off and spliced the power and ground wires from the HID bulb into the original Hella wiring harness. My friends did that for me because I had no idea how to.
Some guys will drill a hole in the back of the lamp housing and use that grommet, but its easier to just splice the HID bulb into the original wiring in the back of the housing.

I wanna light bar like that so bad.....nice job.
You can see where I wired my switches below the thermostate controls between the lighter and reverse censor on/off switch. Looks OEM.

I installed my switched to the left of my power plug in the middle like yours. My truck has the power plug or "cigarette lighter" in the middle unlike yours tho.
I'm pretty sure its the same exact switch as yours too exept mine lights up blue instead of red. Can't even see it unless its lit up which is awsome.

Welp, got my bar and lights mounted. I purchased the smoke lens covers from hella to give the lights a blackout appearance when off. I got everything hooked up w/ the 6000k HIDs, just need to run the switch wires into the cabin.
Due to the bumper changes between 05 and 06, I couldn't mount my ballasts the same way. Instead I used some 24x1x1/8" aluminum bars from Home Depot and right angle brackets to create a "rack" for the ballasts. The rack then mounts to the stock bumper.
I tested to make sure everything worked.... and all the lights come on. The only issue is that the lights appear pinkish from the sides due to the color of the bulbs and the smoke-colored lens covers. I'm not sure I like it.... I may pull them off as it is also decreasing light output a bit.
Will post some pics once I get everything together again... along with the pinkish looks to get everyone's opinions.....

Okay. Pictures officially posted. Couple comments:
1) The auxiliary lights are aimed to DOT specifications (1.5" drop at 25').
2) The light output in the night pictures appear to be lower than expected... I believe this is due to the smoke tint on the lamps and the fact that the telephone pole is in the way. The tint also causes a red/pinkish hue from the side.... therefore, I may end up removing the tint later. I'll take better pics (i.e. without the pole in the way) with the tint on before I decide on whether to remove them or not.
3) Headlamps are 35W HIDs, Aux lights are 55W HIDs. All are 6000k in color (although 55W will appear slightly whiter than 35W).
4) No pics of the position lamps yet... they just come on during the day when the switch is in Autolamp position... sort of a daytime running light feature.
Here are the pics for your criticism.... album linked below w/ more pics and the wiring diagram.
