I'd go with smooth. A little bit of texture isnt worth $40 more imo. Thats just me though.

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but I can't seem to find any working links for these flares. I'm looking for some for an '06 Flareside, but couldn't find any on e-Bay that said they were for a flareside.

Send them an email and ask if they'll fit flareside. They are the ones I have for my flareside(see album) but his "ad" doesnt list them as fitting flareside anymore. Just drop them an email.

Not sure how I missed this thread the first time, but I too like these flares! But YOMAN, where did you pick up the Bushwacker edge trim? I think that'll make them fit perfectly.

YOMAN, do you know what part number the trim you used was? I found 4 different Bushwacker part numbers for trim, they look like different styles. There's 40-01, 42-01, 43-01 and 44-01. I can't seem to find any pictures of them online, but one of them is referred to as "wiper style."
