ring of light mod

Well, this is something i came up with when i had my protege5 years ago. It didn't come out aswell when I applied it to the f150. On the protege5, it looked like a true circle of light. I may need to try putting the circle a little closer to the base on some new bulbs and see how that comes out.

Basically it's just the parking/turn signal bulbs painted. I used pinstriping tape to make the circle effect around the bulbs. Then taping off the base. A coat of silver first for reflective purposes then black.

Maybe they'll look better at night. I'll find out in a few hours.

Interesting idea. Not something I would use but it is neat none-the-less.

That's pretty cool! The paint doesn't get too hot? I guess you don't use the bulbs that long though.
