Cricket?

i have this annoying sound in the rear of the truck, it sounds like a damn cricket. sounds louder when windows are open and even louder when rear window is open. anyone know what it is?? leaf springs? bed movement?

Mine started when i got my bedlined. After many trial and errors, I found that it was the tailgate latching mechanism. I busted out the wd40, and no more squeeks. I sprayed all in the latches on both sides of the tailgate.

Im still trying to get my leafsprings to stop popping...

Tailgate. Lube the hinges and latches.

That's exactly what it is. I'm due too because I noticed it with the window down the other day. I've had good luck using a spray can of white lithium grease. That usually takes care of the swueek for some time.
