What's the chance that they would hold the truck there and put it on the lot forsale?
Slim to nill. I spoke about this with my dealer last Feb when my 05 lease ended. They said they (the dealer) have to be able to sell it for the residual if they want to make any money on it, so with the residual being way more than the truck was worth they just let it go to auction. My truck was picked up and hauled away the same day I dropped it off.

If you did see it sitting on the lot you could always try, but I don't think it will happen with the way the truck market is right now.

Thanks for all the compliments. It seems I'm already starting on the slippery slope of modding this thing. Started with the transfer of everything I could off the F-150. I made the storage box, gonna carpet that, and have a grille protector for the sub. Bought a wireless FM transmitter for the iPod, but it sucks nothing but static. So I'm gonna return it and buy a new marine stereo through work that has AUX in the back, and in front for the headphone jack. Also thinking of wiring up a second controller for the radio in the back. Then talked to Dad about a lift kit, but was stopped in my tracks. He says at least not until the Toyo's wear down.

Only thing I'm actually repairing is the headlight controller, so I can see my gauges at night, and that should be here by the end of the week.

Yeah right, "Your truck is gonna go to the auction block to be sold off." No Way would I ever pay that much for a 3 year old truck, even my own. I'm not gonna go raise a fuss, but still they told me it was gonna get auctioned off.
