what bushwackers are you going to get???

i put pocket flares on my truck and they dwarfed my 33in tires and i was "forced" to upgrade to a 35.

I was looking at the pocket style...but worried about that exact thing. What offset are your wheels? Mine are a 0mm offset and stick out a little but probably not enough to fill out pocket style flares (how far do your flares stick out past the fender?). The pocket style are the only style I really like and would spend the money on though. I may just try to find some factory/factory style flares for now or just leave it as is for a while.

Yeah, the GTO is gone. Traded the GTO in on the truck to keep a nice daily driver and to pave the way for a C6 Z06 Corvette in a few years once used prices come down a little further.

The Fox is just sitting around not doing much of anything...and is certainly nothing to look at right now. Needs a new front clip and a paint job, new rear quarter window, and new wheels and tires...along with a new drivertrain since it's still in 2.3L NA/4-spd auto trim right now. I haven't even started on it but hope to soon...just hard to get motivated.

my wheels are a 17x8.5 with 5in of backspacing (+6mm offset?)

the flairs stick out about 2in. in my opinion its perfect for my setup but may be too wide four yours. i dont have any pictures of the bushwackers+33s but here are some with the 35s and a 2in as:

skip the factory flairs as they require a lot of drilling. "sand dog" iirc has a set of flairs that would look real nice on that truck.
