8.5" wide wheel wide enough for 37x13.5?

I have my 37x13.5 Toyo's on a 17x9 right now, but I'm looking at the Pro Comp 8128 and its only 17x8.5. Do you think it being .5" narrower will be any problem for a 13.5" wide tire?

I'm not a wheel expert but I think it would. Having a 13.5" wide tire on a 9" wheel seems over sized enough.

Per the Toyo web site, the open country minimum wheel width is 8.5", so you should be okay.

I have 12.5 wide on 7.5 inch stock wheel, and no problems, so go for it.

Not ideal but it will work fine. Same as 12.50's on stock wheels like all of us are doing.
