This is the perfect example of why I have a truck. Also proves why I don't really care about getting crappy gas mileage. They're big and safe. I'm sure you do a side by side comparison on the two involved vehicles and it'll just show more.

Glad the two of you are okay.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I was really ticked. The headlight got the worst damage from my foot when I Kicked it out of frustration.

Glad you and your kiddo are OK. Scary stuff when there are kids involved in an accident. I think the air bags didn't deploy since it wasn't a head on type collision, more of a side collision.

Glad to hear all were alright!

On the bright side of things, it is a great time to be in the market for a fullsize truck.....

that's sucks, but trucks can be replaced. good thing everyone is OK. IMO insurance should be required in every state. that truck may be totaled by the looks of it, i bet there's more than 8500 bucks worth of damage, depending on the insurance adjuster and body shop.

Sorry to hear about your accident, glad you and your kid are ok. I'm going thru the same thing right now, but your accident looks worse. Good luck with everything.

My wife also has an '08 Expedition. I'd rather suffer gas mileage that body injury.

The CRX? Well it had no front end left and the rear was mess up too where it spun around and hit my rear door. My nerf bars did the damage to the rear of the CRX,
