Tow Hooks

Anyone know where i can get some chrome tow hooks?I saw some on ebay but they were polished aluminum hard to keep looking good.Chromed steal would be better.

sand yours. take them to get chromed.

i took mine off when I put on the Bull Bar. Get your OEM ones chromed. If you like cool, if not let me know and I'll give you mine. You just pay for shipping.

Fitz,
find a local chrome shop and have yours blasted and chromed. Cost me 60 to have mine done.

Thanx for the info,Ill search for a chrome shop I thought that would be expencive but 60 bucks i can handle.

Would have cost me less, but they had trouble getting the coating off that ford puts on them. They had to sandblast it to get it off. If I had to do it over again, I would only have the ring portion blasted and plated. The braket portion is hidden under the truck and you can't see it anyway.

When you pull yours off, remove the front bolt and loosen the rear bolt and then you can just pull it off. Thats why the rear bolt hole is slotted. If you take out both bolts, the floating captured nuts will move out of place and you may not get them back in place.
