Extended Warranty

I feel like I was very lucky getting my engine replaced under the injector warranty and couldn't imagine having to pay for it myself. Therefore I am thinking seriously about buying an extended warranty.

I read somewhere on here about a dealer that offers a good deal on them but I can't find the post. If anyone know what I am talking about please lead me in the right direction.

If not where would you recommend buying a warranty. I am looking for a 4 yr / 100k warranty.

BTW, I have searched for this info but just didn't find what I was looking for.

If you want an extended warranty, I would suggest you only buy it from Ford. The non manufacturer warranty companies are famous for denying claims and /or going out of business and leaving you up the creek. I suspect with the current economic situation, it would be even more risky.

i have had both warranties, FORD and NON-FORD. I will NEVER under any circumstance choose NON-FORD. I had to take my truck in for work and the NON-FORD people fought tooth and nail with the shop to get things fixed. It took the shop forever to get things done because the NON-FORD people needed every bit of detail they could get to try and drown them in paper work. My shop that I go to is a bunch of hard core rednecks, so we got a long well and they went the extra mile to work with me. All in all, everything was approved, but I have a feeling that if I would have gone to any other shop, they would have just said they couldn't do it.

Here is one place. I printed what I wanted, and my dealer matched that price on the 7yr 100k.

You can only buy the ford ESP if your vehicle is still under its INITIAL 3/36 period...

Since '06 to new trucks, they come with a 6 year, 60,000 miles power train warranty. IIRC the injectors are covered.
