You'd have to get the hi/lo ballasts as well, not just the bulbs.

Nope. Remember back when you wire tapped the headlights, there were 3 wires from the stock harness. You only tapped 2 (the low beam and ground). The 3rd was the high beam. The hi/lo ballasts will require a 3rd wire tap.

Touche.....Well good thing I never really used my HI beams anyways...Might be for the best..May keep me out of trouble..Cant really afford to get in any more.

Me too...The funny thing is, I probably would have gotten them if I didnt just get a 30 over speeding ticket on new years eve.

LOL, mine was only 13 over (78 in a 65) on the day after Christmas! The police officer did ask me, "those lights are very nice and bright. do you have your high beams on?"

Ya mine was in a friends car who lives in Destin, Florida. And so the cop thought i stole the car and stuck it to me hard....Doesn't help that its like my 5th ticket...They really do like to pick out Lifted Trucks

I sure appreciate the information in this thread.

I just ordered the DDM H13 55W 6000K kit with the Hi/Lo bulbs. $117 with shipping. I'm looking forward to getting them in. This is the first HID kit I've ever purchased so my expectations are fairly neutral but nevertheless I have my fingers crossed!
