Man oh man, I was debating on getting these rims before now but they just weren't sitting pretty with me...until I saw the black powder coat jobs, and now I'm debating on whether to save up or blow my next paycheck on them, lol...

Besides the continentals listed earlier, what tires are everyone going with? Goodyear, BFG? I've had great results with both those brands but I'm weary of dropping a ton of money (especially on 23's which won't be cheap) on a set of rubber just to be pissed at the results. Any balancing issues, or have to balance them more often than stock?

I took a chance on the Contis only cause they were made in Germany and they were only like $773 shipped.

Here is one I did for a friend of mine.

Is anybody on here buying an extra wheel in case of an emergency or is everybody buying just 4 wheels and hoping they don't ever need to change out a tire while on the side of the road.

I doubt there is....if you hung that wheel under the truck in the carrier it would just get ruined anyway from road crap getting thrown up on it. Your full size spare will get you where your going and it'll save you atleast 5oo bucks on a wheel/tire combo that you hope you never even have to see.

I paid $169 ea for my Conti's from tire rack, but I see they now have them for $158 ea, they don't offer free shipping where Discount does, YMMV

Go bigger is my point, why do you have to stop at 23's. Be freakin original and go bigger then paint to match. Smart ***
