Question rvinyl tint for foglights and taillights questions

ok so ive decided to go with rvinyl to tint all my lights except for the headlights and i will be getting the black hella ones.

anyway what i want to ask is, im torn between the lite and dark shades i can tell what to get.
i dont wanna get them and be disappointed in it, so i need help deciding.

i was kinda leaning toward the dark for everything except the fog lights but idk..

pictures would help alot!

my truck is tan and i have everything either black or tan so it will match good dont worry about that.

thanks

i went with the dark for the fog lights and the 3 rd brake light , and then the light tint on the tails, i love they way the tails look, and 3rd brake light

honestly i do not like the fogs, i would paint them, if i weren't so lazy

IDNC76 did you paint the inside of your lights? And if you did what paint did you use and how is it holding up to the heat? Im thinking about doing mine but Im not sure if I want to paint them black or a grey color to match my truck.

yes, i used krylon fusion for the headlights, holding up fine, and no leaks.

what color is your truck, b/c the dark is pretty dark lol, as you can see on my 3rd brake light, which is mostly white, and even that turned out rather dark. i think the foglights are a lil cheesey, they dont match anything else. i will paint them one day.

its rather easy once you get the hang of it, i reccomend using a hairdryer , for the curves and what not

I was going to go to get rvinyl on ebay, but instead I went to a local vinyl shop and they got me a 4ft x 2ft sheet for $30. I did my fog lights and tail lights with this sheet. I also got the dark sheet because he showed me the light tint and its barely anything. Also, i have extra tint in case anything happens to the ones on my truck.
Ill post some pictures up later today or tomorrow

Be careful! Rvinyl is not the same as window tint.

Its not window tint. Its actually a vinyl. Almost like a tinted/ see through sticker. Basically same stuff as Rvinyl just not precut and i have more left over.

Cool! I didn't go with a pre-cut Rvinyl either....I bought it in a sheet form as well.
