nothing has worked so far

I've tried Goo Gone, Alcohol, WD-40, fingernails, heat, friction

I get an 1" at a time. Then I get frustrated and walk off

The whole reason behind "CLEARENCE LIGHTS" is at night time they can tell by the lighting how wide a oversized vehicle is. ever notice on a dually that there is a 3 light marker in the center and of course the side marker lights on the edges.

all DOT state that trucks or vehicles up to or over 102" must display the proper lighting at dusk till dawn

I've seen plenty of dually's that don't have the markers though...had a chevy and a ford without them...and then the F-250 had them...don't know

Yeah, the original design for clearance lights was as stated. But now days there are so many trucks and vans that have the lighted moonvisors it doesent matter. In fact the little Hummer H3 can have clearance lights from the factory.

Anyway, they look good. I think I might have to try them on my silver truck. They must be somewhat popular, never seen them before except for that Skyjacker add, now yesterday I saw two different stock F-150s with them.

I think u ruined a pretty truck but thats just my opinion. I dont think clearence lights look good unless its a dually.

I guess I happily ruined it then.

the truck is as big as most Superdutys...and at night these lights give it that extra little swagger to the look. like it or love it, people in front of me on the roads can't miss it.

my wife pointed out this morning that my front end looks empty without offroad lights...so maybe a pair of Hella's or KC Daylighters are coming also for the bullbar

I LOVE clearance lights. and I think that they look great on your truck at night. But I dont like the those lights. They look like black blobs on there. Great write-up though.

By the way, 3m Stripe Off Wheel is your friend. It will get rid of the tape left over by the vent visors without hurting your paint.

Looks good... now you either need to swap out your mirrors or add some LEDs to yours.

what the hell is that white bar in your lower grill?
what kind of mirrors are those? not for me, but I've never seen those before.

this is what I'm going to do eventually.

Mirror LED Mod #1
The Original Mirror LED Mod

I like how Matt 05'FX4 has his setup. But I want to run 5 LEDs like Josiah did. I already have the OEM blinkers on the backside

I was just posting the link so you would know what i was talking about. Go to a body shop and they might be throwing one away. I bought mine new from the local body shop supply store for 25 bucks with the mandrel. It was completely worth it in my opinion.

Caseyh46 light bar mod It's not on my truck anymore. Someday I will get around to mounting my lights behind my grill

Those are the OEM Ford TTT mirrors... before they were making the newer SuperDuty style they are making now. They basically are the same as the ones Schefenacker makes, only the lens cover for the marker/signal lights is clear instead of amber. Here's an article trytokeepup did on them
