"Part number 5L3Z7213AA was superseded by part number 5L3Z7213N.
5L3Z7213N $105.77
HANDLE ASSEMBLY "
They must be selling the whole thing like we wanted before, but I have just the imitation leather part (5L3Z7213AA) lying around never installed.

The prices on that site are really up there. Try us out www.TascaParts.com we are almost $30.00 cheaper on that part.
That is just the handle. The whole shifter should be 7L3Z-7210-J ($242 on our site) If you pm an email address over to me I will send you a picture of the catalog breakdown of the shifter.

If you think that is expensive so see what it costs to build the center console from scratch.

ive got a lot of money into it but money has been slow so i stopped working on it but saw $70ish for the handle and was wondering if that was the entire shifter
I bought "just the handle" for 9 bucks back in '06, so I assumed that which I posted yesterday was a bolt in assembly at 10 times the price. They (the website in my link) use the word (abbv.) "assembly". Those who have been around for awhile know that "just the handle" needs Dremel mods to fit, and we (the f150online crew) wanted a bolt-in piece back in the day. Naturally, I thought a $105 part must be a little more substantial than the part I purchased for $9. They (the link I provided) didn't provide a picture or schematic illustration (that would help a lot). Pardon me for trying to help the guy...I didn't post here for personal gain, unlike some posting in this thread...
