Louder!
Right now I have all 4 stock cats and a flowmaster 40 series muffler that is single in and dual out. I want this thing to be louder. It is pretty loud but not good enough for my taste. I was thinking of just cutting out the flowmaster and putting a piece of pipe instead. Should I do that or will it be a waste of time? how hard would it be to take the cats off?

take the rear 2 cats off, see if you likt that if not pull the muffler...

this is the only vid i have so far and its a cold start up, so lots of crackle but you get the picture. plus i was using the camera not a camcorder Here's a vid i snagged quickly: Dual SLP LM1's with H-Pipe |
what do you guys think if I just cut it off right where it goes single in to the muffler and just put a turn down right there right before the axle? how will that sound?

loud and annoying...but legal

Cut the rear cats. I did it and it made my Magnaflow system just as loud as a 2 chamber muffler, but better sounding.

How do you folks hear yourselves think with exhaust systems that loud?

Try taking off the muffler, that's quick and free.
