Lifts and Towing

I am ready to lift my 05 Supercrew with either 4" or 6" (leaning towards 6" Pro Comp )
Has anyone had any problems towing with their lifts?
How about any swaying ?
Any problems on slick and snowy roads?
Any big power loss with 35's

Tow a 26' camp trailerand 4 place snowmachine trailer
5.4 with Edge
Thanks all

You will of course lose some power and braking to the heavier tires. It's a fairly considerable loss of power and small loss in braking imo. I have the 6-inch Pro-Comp with add-a-leafs on 35's and no sway issues at all. Actually never had a sway issue on any Ford truck I've ever towed with. I added 4.56 gears, a good after market intake, exhaust and custom tunes and those things together really make for a noticeable increase in performance. But more power is never enough for some of us. Probably buy better calipers and pads when the original set wears out. The truck was a serious dog on 35's stock imo and hunted gears like crazy even unloaded in a slight head wind. If you tow for money I wouldn't recommend it but if it's recreational then go for it. I'm a little over 32k on mine now, probably 10-15% towing and still on first set of brakes and tires. Expect to get about 40k before reset which is liveable to me. Trailer brakes always a must for anything sizeable.

Pretty much what he said..gears and t-brakes are a must. Also i wouldnt be running mud tires in the winter neither, learned that one the hard one a few years ago. I'd also op for a set of rear add bags too if it was my truck.
