My '06 XLT

What do you think so far? Just bought it last month.

So far, all that I've done is add the Clarion headunit and remove the black paint from the F150 emblems.

3 ways to remove the black paint on the emblems

1. tape off the fender and very carefully use Acetone to remove the black paint
2. remove the badge and use acetone
3. do like I did. spray it with a garden hose. my paint flaked right off. a pressure washer would probably be faster

Theres a guy locally selling some brand new FX4 rims and BFG tires...I'm thinking about going that route.

I removed the black paint exactly as Tylus said above in step 1. Taped off the fender/tailgate around the emblem and went to town with some acetone. Its kind of a pain in the ***...more work than I expected, but definitely worth it. I love the red & chrome combo on this truck...although, I really like red and black too, so I might go that direction down the road, even though it seems to be somewhat played out.

like the red, it looks like it 2wd i would drop the back to even it, or a leveling kit really makes the truck look like not the tippical f150!
