Now the passenger side window regulator is bad :(

I guess the lifespan they designed these power window regulators for is about 4 years. Several months ago my driver side window regulator broke - tabs on the motor driven pulley broke off. Now the little socket one of the cables goes into broke in half allowing the cable to pop out. It also pulled the cable out of one of the plastic pieces on one of the rails and broke that part too.

Fortunately I found a better deal on the replacement this time. Last time the cost at the dealer was about $150, which was apparently retail price. This time I called a different dealer and they sold me one for $107 (suggested retail was listed as $145 on the reciept).

So I'll be installing it today after work. The only other good thing about this is, it's a breeze to install. I mean SUPER easy.

A little off topic but still regarding pricing...even my local dealer isn't consistent when it comes to pricing. I bought a Fusion key for my wifes Mustang. It was about $100. A week later I bought the EXACT same part for my F-150 and it was $25 cheaper (a different parts guy this time).

Keep shopping around. Maybe you can get it even cheaper at another dealer.
