Securing toolboxes

So I got the talk tonight from my pops about having a toolbox in my truck and how he guarantees it will be stolen up at school. So I want to know how yall are securing tool boxes to our trucks.

The 2 boxes I am considering is the kind that hands on the bed rails, and then the tool chest kind.

So whatcha got?

Low profile on mine. Bolted in, it aint gonna go now where unless they can get into the tool box. and i dont think they are seriously gonna do all that for a tool box

The grip rites are OK. I have a tractor supply box (made by DeeZee...at least the model I have). I could only get 1 grip rite on. The the box was too wide to get both sides on, it would not fit between the bed rails. So I have a grip rite on one side and 2 J hooks on the other side.

Same hear. 2 self tapping screws on each side, right into bed rails.

I've had the Grip Rite thing on my F-150 and now the F-250 for a few years without any problems. No drilling holes into the bed rail is a good thing.

Get yourself a good Delta tool box and some J-hooks. They bolt in from the inside, so to steal the entire box, they'd have to break into the box to un bolt it.

www.deltastorage.com

The boxes are rated on a Good, Better, Best and Premium rating.

Good= Delta
Better=Delta Champion
Best= Delta Pro
Premium= Jobox
