Ford owners know how to spell 3rd grade words. Chevy owners....not so much.

Are you Matineer's cousin by any chance?

My Roush is a piece of junk. You'd expect this thing to tow 5000+ lbs at 7000' DA, outrun 95% of all CARS and TRUCKS on the road, and still get 15 MPG.

No... wait...

i had a silverado before my f150 and i miss it. my silvy was way more comfy than my supercrew is. ill give ford credit though its 5 times quieter inside. alot of people where i work have never had a lick of trouble with their 04+ f150. one gal leases a new one every 2 yrs, nothing but oil changes, another guys 74k miles nothing but tires and oil, mine is currently as 12k miles never in the shop for nothing yet. i guess its all about preference, but my next truck isnt going to be a f150, sierra or silvy again. id trade my lifted screw for a stock 07 silverado or sierra anyday.

Yeah dont ask I dont know why either but says he sold for $103k. I havent quite determined how full of it he is yet. Probably, ALOT

never doubted the lightning, in fact i LOVE the lightning i was going to buy one now too long ago that was a solid 12 second truck...but something about 12mpg on premium in a DD didn't sit right with me....

There are strengths and weakness with any brand of truck you buy.
IMO, you really can't go wrong purchasing any of the big three (sorry i'm just not a Toyota/Nissan fan, no matter how good they are).
I have been a Ford man all my life, my personal experience with the truck i'm driving now;
Bought it in Jan. 2004, one of the first ones off the line (built 7/03)
* LS rear end rebuilt
* Rear tail lights replaced (filled up with water)
* Throttlebody replaced (would not idle)
* Outside temp sensor replaced
* Third brake light leaks water on the back seat (not fixed)
* Buytl pad removed
* Front Disc's replaced (warped)
* Spline lubed on the driveshaft (vibration)
As Forest Gump's mom once said...Life is like a bunch of choclates, you never know what your gonna get.
