I use the grab handles very time I enter, right after I step into the steps, handles seem quite secure so far!.................

I think I am getting the run around. My service guy said the manager that is needed to make the approval is on vacation.

Beyond warranty

I was told by the Service Dept when I had my truck in at 35,000 for the LS diff. noise (that they couldn't hear) that if you had a documented service issue under warranty, Ford would "take care of it" if it reoccurred early in the post-warranty period...

So is the dealership manager or owner not authorized to make such decisions? I'd be pissed and say that your back hurts because this broke on you while getting in the truck and you need to go see a doctor now. Then tell them they will hear from your lawyer with lost wages and doctor bills. If it was me I'd would of came in hurt already, screaming at the bastards for failing to fix it right the first time.

Always, always, always save all your documentation and make sure you always get documentation every time you pick up your truck. That is how I got a new transmission at 67,700 done as warranty work.

Remind me never to argue with Tylus, he is to big and to close to Texas to chance making him mad.

Angry

Well, the new grab bar part came in today at my local Ford dealer. But,it has to be painted! WTF!!
So,now I have to wait for it to be sent out to be painted! All I can say is,it better match the rest of the interior or they will be doing it again!
