Pics of the Rig

Been here awhile posting questions for all to give me a hand with but got lazy and didnt introduce myself and rig to the forums. Bought used 2005 FX4 with 70k on the odometer. It had some ugly aftermarket FX4 stickers on it so those have been removed and am looking at putting something else back on there. Here she is so far, currently just put some black harley lights and drop in HID kit in the heads and fogs, put some black tubular side steps and am waitting for my harley tails.

Can someone help me get some pictures posted?

Nice looking truck. The only thing that I would change would be the chrome handles. There is no other chrome on your truck and they look a little out of place. I vote for black.

Nice truck! x2 on the handles. They look outa place. Were the tails on there when you bought it? IMO I would thin some stock tails with nightshades would look better.

Can I ask what you paid?

Thanks guys, alot of stuff was on there when I bought it. The previous owner didnt have much style I dont think. I was thinking that the chrome should come off too, just a little concerned if the handles have been beat all to heck. I am from just outside of charleston. My wife is a MU grad and I am going back this fall to a WVU satelitte school. The tails will be gone and replaced with some harley tails tomorrow. I think I got this at a pretty good steal at 15,200.
Got a question about putting a leveling kit on this thing. 3" on the front should make her sit even, but does it do anything bad to the ball joints.. i keep reading yes and no.

some guys here have a 3 but a lot of guys on this site say dont go farther than a 2.5'' bc the wear on your ball joints and if not mistaken you dont need a 3 to make it level bc the stock block in the back is only 2'' but read more into it. Nice truck by the way

mhockey~ I am looking at Fat Bobs Garage into a 2.5" Rough Country Leveling Lift Kit. The specs say it levels the front with the rear and doesnt require a compressor for the springs. Are they really that easy to install?

Put a 2.5 AS kit on mine. I dont do much off roading so I dont worry too much about the ball joints. The AS kit was really easy to instal. Just simple hand tools needed and stuff you can rent from Auto zone. There is a write up on here that will walk you through every step.
