hey bro. Id go just to see your truck. sweet ride. I our trucks are similar base models, except I have the 6.5 bed. I didnt originally want the longer bed, but I've grown into it. It makes it a bigger truck.

Support the truck on the frame towards the rear. Remove old U-bolts. Lower rear axle about a 1/2". Pull out the stock block. Raise axle to meet leaf springs. Install new U-bolts. Lower truck and enjoy.

I think you would be okay on shocks if it's just for a show. It sounds like some work but if you'r getting ready for a show you'll be putting in way more work than that anyway.

Your truck is sickk those are the same rims I was looking at for mine too. What are the specs on the rims you got, like the dimensions? Do you have a leveling kit or anything?

Boss 330. 24x10"

Suspension is stock height.

hey mgp where did you get that insert. It looks great. I have a lariat (same grille style) with black bumpers and want that exact look.

Roush "chrome over plastic" upper and Carriage Works Monster bumper grille. Do a google search

mgp, what is the backspacing on those wheels? 12 or 30? do they rub at all in the front when turning stop to stop?

Had my truck in it's first show July 4th and took 3rd place. Got it entered into another show for today, actually getting ready to head out to the show.
