Im looking at replacing my black Lariat heated/power/blinker mirrors with the Chrome Package/LT mirrors with the top chrome part, heated/power/blinker/puddle light.

I just called my local ford dealer and the parts guy is telling me the right side is $446 and the left is $666!..... yet the exact same mirror without the upper chrome piece is $176. this does not make sense. I was thinking maybe he was quoting me the new tow mirrors maybe? but i asked for the LT mirrors... the tow mirrors dont come on an LT do they?

 

Try with Tasca ford parts. They seem to have the best prices. You could also just get a chrome mirror cap. F150store sells them.

 

Thats sounds about right. couple months ago I bought the paintable mirror caps like the ones on the FX2's. I thought they would swap out with the textured caps on my power/heated/signal mirrors. Turns out they did not fit, I called the dealer where I bought them and I also needed the whole mirror housing, they were about 480 each.

I ended up sending them back, and I'm going to sand and paint my textured ones.

 

Ill try Tasca. They are not to far from my either. I broke one mirror so i figured I had to buy a new one anyways, and instead of the caps, why not just get the real ones.

 

04-06 Chrome mirror from the Mark LT has a list price of about $197.00 each and would run you around $131.00 each plus shipping. He priced you an 07 - 08 with power fold.

 

thats what i was figuring. Thanks for the reply- When i call to order, who should i talk to? These are the Power/Heated/Blinker/Puddle Light/Chrome topped mirrors- correct?

Also, has Tasca picked a date yet for their car show this year? I enjoy attending every year with my mustang and mustang club
