Thanks guys.

I just put a fresh coat of Zaino polish on it - great product and simple to use. As far as the undercarriage, I took the blocks off and painted them with Rustoleum along with the rear axle. I also sprayed the drive shaft with "Rust Tough"

The only complaint/warning I have with the 5150's is that I have the exact same problem that FX4life had in this thread:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=317812

The shock eyelet mounting sleeves that came with them are a little too big for the F150 shock mounting bolts so they clunk when going over bumps, etc, because they are loose. FX4life showed me a link to order the correct sleeves to fit however....just

They are back ordered right now though, so I won't have them for a few weeks

Thanks again FX4life

You need to have a new drive shaft made for the paint, or because of your lift?

I am about to pull the trigger...on some 5150's for the rear of my FX4. I just want to make sure I have everything straight before I place my order. I am going to order 2 Bilstein (BF5-A187-H1's).....since Cope has a 4 inch lift....and I have a 3 inch block in the rear of mine, I would think that's the right shocks for me as well. But I also want to make sure I rectify this eyelet sleeve issue as well. The shocks have a 14mm eyelet and I am wanting a 12mm, so I am going to order 4 BSN-420924 / 12mm METAL sleeves. Does the rubber bushings need to be replaced too? -Thanks in advance!

I almost positive that they don't....but I'm sure FX4life will chime in and confirm.

Those shocks should work fine - I have plenty of travel left each way.
