Her name is Mercedes ???.

I regret not having the $$$ to mod the truck further...especially as the truck is touch 'n go if I don't find a cheap SUV in the next yr or so.

35" Cooper STT or 35" Toyo M/T
Roush Supercharger
Bushwacker Fender Flares

I guess everyones regret is not going bigger.

I have three regrets, but only one is a mod regret.

1st is not getting the 5.4
2nd is not getting a 4wd (which cancels itself because if i was 4wd i would have spent WAAAY too much money lifiting and big **** tires like most of you guys, next one will be 4by though)

and my real mod regret is not going bigger with the wheels, i settled for 22s for the ride, but would have loved to have the 24 look.

overall im happy with it though, the wheels have enough flash for me and the ride is decent.

Screw-me, wanna swap for a week and see what happens? lol

This is the truth. Troyer has been ripping people off for years with his crappy fans. Too bad he won't man up and stop selling them or do something about the problems. He just keeps taking guys money. Crook.

Buying a XLT supercab that is 2wd. Wish I would have gotten a crew cab with 4x4 lariat edition. Oh well, next truck is going to be a diesel fully loaded.

My regrets broken down into catergories:

The actual truck purchase:
Not buying a Scab longbed, not getting the 35.7 gal tank and not holding out for a clean low mileage white truck (I <3 white vehicles). My truck is optioned how I want: XLT, 5.4L, 4x4, Scab, two tone cloth, manual shift t-case, PW, PL, PM, CD player, 17" alloys.

The suspension pahse:
I am happy with my ProComp 6" lift, but I am really wanting 8" of lift now; I had never heard of Rize at the time I installed my ProComp. I guess not going bigger was a regret on the lift kit. I also regret not saving enough to re-gear at the same time as the lift... my 3.55's and 35" tires are not the best companions.

Tires and Wheels:
My tires rock! I have absolutely no complaints about my 35x12.50-R17 ProComp mud terrains. My rims are great too. 17x9" ProComps with the right offset to look good and in a design that is classic and tough. Eventually I would like another pair of shoes for more "showy" occasions and as a my daily/on road wheelset, maybe in the 20" diameter.

Motor:
All stock with a Magnaflow SIDO side exit, SCT Xcal 3 and VMP tuning... no complaints, but I will be adding more.

In summation, there really aren't too many 'regrets' per say, more like compromises made when initially purchasing the truck (I couldn't find a used 2006+ Scab longbed to save my life, save for one with the funky 7 lug wheels), and lack of knowledge when buying my lift kit. The other items are things that will be added when money permits.

Regret just 1.

If I had to do over again, I would:
Buy a better head unit instead of add ons for stock.
Go with two 8's instead of 1 10.
Buy a lariat on original purchase. The cloth is not forgiving at all.

My one regret is not holding out in 02 for the truck I wanted, which caused me to sell in 3 years and get my F150, which I do like, but its no 250 PSD. In all honesty all I miss is the torque. Diesel is way up there and USLD is a PITA for older engines.

Talking

i regret putting lift torsion keys on my 03 screw fx4, which caused my cv's to blow out and knowing it was going to be a pita to replace them in my driveway, and after i did, i got butterflies in my stomach waiting for something to break whenever i drove it. so i traded it in and got an 05 screw fx4 which i love.

secondly i'm not currently independently wealthy so i can't do all the mods i want to without my wife seeing the credit card bill's

My only regret, and it's not that big of a deal, is not waiting for the line-x xtra to come out before I had my chrome bumpers color matched. The shop owner was pushing me to wait, but I didn't wanna wait a whole year and I never went back to have them apply a UV protectant.

i guess my only regret would be tires... well.. tires and wheels i guess.

when i bought the truck, i got a few extra bucks off cause i convinced the sales guy it was in need of new tires... once i finally bought the truck it need an inspection asap because it was from a different state.. needless to say, 2 of the tires wouldn't pass, so i replaced all 4 with 275/70/17's...

if i had the money at the time, i would have loved to step up to a set of 20's and something a bit bigger, like 35s... that would include some sort of lift to fit the bigger tires though.. it was all too much for me to do at once, and since i needed tires asap to pass inspection, i had to go with the 17s to fit the stock rims...

My one regret would be that I bought the Roush/Airaid cai intake just becuase it was cheaper than the AF1. Now I have to live with that famous drone sound until I can get the AF1 like I originally planned too.
