Yet Another Hid Question

I currently have the xentec 6000k HID kit in my fogs(9145). I have the ballasts hooked up directly to the stock plug. I know there is a about a 20k voltage jump to ignite the lights and was wondering if it would be safe to keep running them like this? I have not had a problem yet, but Id rather be safe then sorry. I know the fuse will limit the amperage in the circuit to around 20 if i am correct? ohms law states 1 volt pushes 1 amp through 1 ohm. Whats do you guys think? Am I safe?

Thanks

x2^ I would have to say though that if you have a front end impact, turn your lights off asap. The fuses should pop and prevent any problems but its best to turn them off.

youre fine, if it wasnt safe would they be stock from the factory in millions of cars? most of the kits you buy off ebay are made from OEM ballests.
