Well i went ahead and got rid of my K&N for the S&B intake. I liked the closed box design of the S&B better than what i had. I didn't like the metal insert that is supposed to seperate the K&N filter from the engine compartment. So far it seems to me that the S&B is a little better. The whole set up is tighter and more solid. It seems to make my truck a little louder. I want to say i think it has a tiny bit more pickup and pull to it than it did before. I wish i could see the dyno difference between the two but i dont have access to that kind of thing. Sold my K&N to a buddy for 50 bucks...my loss is his gainAnyways just thought i would write a small post about it in case anybody had the same thoughts about switching from an intake they already have.
