Question 2006 FX

I have been reading the forums on F150online.com for the last month. I have learned so much, and it has solidified my desire to purchase a F150. I am going to try to purchase a 2006 F150 FX supercab. It has 18000 miles. Here is the link

http://apps.dealerconnection.com/dea...PX04566KB03100

The asking price is 24,900.
I would appreicate any help in what you guys believe would be a fair price.

Once again thanks for any advice.

Yeah.... average deal... not bad.

I bet you can haggle them down to $22,500 easily.

It sounds like a fairly good deal. I paid a little bit less for my truck in November with 15K miles (they were asking 29K). My truck has climate control, heated seats, audiophile, OEM 20's which are the differences I see in the two trucks.

I agree you should get them down to $21,xxx-$22,xxx and it would be good price.
Make sure you run a carfax and get a Oasis report (vehicle maintenance history) and make sure nothing out of the ordinary comes up.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice JMB and ManualF150. They dealer says it was a one owner lease from one of their ford technicians. But I will ask for a CarFax and Oasis report. Thanks again. Hopefully I will be a new ford truck owner this week

Well, than that is even better. You know that it is well maintained.

I know if the person that last owned the truck was an autoworker or mechanic, they usually 9 times out of 10 took good care of their truck.
