power rear slider stopped working

I have an 04 Lariat SCREW with 37k, just last week I noticed my power rear slider is inoperative. Looking through the manual I dont see any fuse specifically for the power slider. Location 401, is a 30A circuit breaker and says power windows, moonroof, power sliding backlight. Is there another fuse location, the power windows and slider work fine, the terminology in the manual is confusing "power sliding backlight" not sure if they are referring to the rear slider but it's not mentioned anywhere else? Anybody familiar with this or had a motor or switch fail on these. Thanks

its a common problem, it seems like if you dont use it every day then it gets stuck, mine was for a long time then the other day it worked like a charm, if your under warrenty take it in, otherwise try some silicone lubricant on the rails and help it along when opening it and if that works just try to open it every once in a while to keep things lubed up and clean

Slider

Same thing with mine. 04 Supercrew. Wouldn't open for awhile then one day it did. I now open it once every week just to keep it going. haven't had any problems since.

Just had my motor replaced a few weeks ago under warranty after the motor died. Pretty pricey too, glad they footed the bill.. $400 or so I think is what it said.

thanks for the all the replys. I wasn't buying that it was "stuck", I pushed the open switch and pulled on it simultaneously and it didn't budge. I then spayed down the track and channels with WD-40, still nothing. A little later I got in and drove away and hit the open switch and it opened! I'll remember to use it more frequently and to keep the track clean and lubricated. Thanks Again!
