Where is the best place to buy the F-150 Evolution Programmer? I have read onhere about people buying them and then having problems ecause the truck they came frpm didnt restore to stock etc... Is it safe to buy from ebay? Also, is the edge the right one? I have also read about getting a custom tune, if this is my first mod is that really neccesary? Also, anyone know about buying locally? im in San Jose, CA for the next week so if there are any good stores id go that route also.

I would contact Bill (ASEMechanic) about getting one of his units with 3 custom tunes. Look for one of his posts, it has a link to his website with more information. Give him a call, he would be more than happy to discuss your options. I spoke with him a couple days ago, and have complete confidence in his abilities. Given that you have a 04 and if you have or plan on ever getting a CAI it is even more important for YOU to get the custom tunes so you don't have a lean A/F problem.
