I would definately stay away from the "Care and Detailing" section. They will convince you that your clean and shiny truck is neither clean nor shiny. They do have a lot of expertise if you have a problem though. They like to talk in secret codes of abbreviations and numbers.

Hey just2tow, you'll get over that gas thing real quick.

Just remember buying a truck and worrying about gas is like marrying a fat chick and worrying about groceries

What are ya towing? Must be important...to just buy a truck for one thing...or are ya towing a small camper trailer all over the country?

if you get flamed, that person deserves a good butt-kickin

you buy what you need or can afford...just please don't come out claiming the truck is a POS because you bought the low end model and it ain't as nice as the upper end models. because there is a huge difference from XL to King Ranch

I am not sure what issues with the spark plugs people are refering to. other than they are extremely difficult to change them. a big risk to change them on your own. they are supposed to last 100,000 miles so no big deal. I plan on changing mine sooner but I will pay a professional to change them out at 50 or 60 thousand miles. the way I see it it is better to pay someone to change them so if one spark plug dose break they can pay to replace the heads not me. it is not really a big deal just have someone like the dealer change your plugs for you. if you do alot of towing you may have warped rotors issues. I did and I only tow on ocasion. just make sure you get in befor your warranty expires and make the dealer fix the issue as I did. no real big issues though. other than poor mpg's. most mods will add 1 mpg at the most. many claim more but it has been my experience they add only .5 to 1 mpg's if anything at all. the best thing to help in that aria is try to keep your foot out of the gas real heavy. something I can't seem to teach myself.

Well said, there are lot of beautiful heavily modded trucks in this sub-forum.
